Tree Hunting

We decided to get a real tree this year, since my whole family (except mom and dad of course) is going to be here for Christmas. We always had one growing up and I was feeling nostalgic. It was a last minute decision, so we got to the tree farm about 15 minutes before they closed. And that was way too much pressure to have to decide so fast. Plus all the really good ones had been tagged by the early birds. We were freezing though, so we probably wouldn't have lasted much longer anyway. I hope it looks okay once we get it in our living room. We're crossing our fingers.

I love real trees. Yummy. But I am such a loser and can't string lights. So I have to buy the fake ones that are prelit. :)

I'm sure it'll look great. My favorite tree is the Charlie Brown. How lucky to have just had your family there and then to have them again for Christmas.

Yip eeeee!! a real tree. I would be excited but for some reason all that I can think about is how hard it will be to keep ayden away from it. Especially since he will be walking by the time we see you

You're such a good mom...I didn't want to go out in the cold to find a tree, so we have a fake one. MMMM, I do miss the smell of real trees, though.

I hope you all have fun together. I am so glad that everyone will be there. It's going to be a different Christmas for us this year. One of the branch members gave us a little decorated tree on a table. With a 105 degrees outside, it's hard to feel like Christmas as usual, but this year we will concentrate more on Christ and his mission and the wonderful gift he gave to the world. You all have a good time and everbody help.
